Generalate: Golden Jubilee

Generalate: Golden Jubilee

50 years of Faithful Service in Religious Life!

In thanksgiving to God, our prayer is filled with profound joy for you. When we think of the strength you are for others, in letting God live in you, with such beauty and truth, we give thanks!  50 years of service to God in the Presentation of Mary family is a grace appreciated and celebrated each moment. You are a treasure and strength for the Congregation. You are always ready to serve, help, and attend to the needs of others. Many young sisters have received spiritual help and guidance from you. You were always filled with energy, joy, and enthusiasm as you journey with them on pilgrimage in Rome and lead them in the footsteps of Marie Rivier. Your smile has given them hope to persevere in the journey and to fix their gaze on Jesus Christ. We thank God for you and for your availability to serve in the General Council.

Celebrating a Golden Jubilee is not just an accomplishment but an act of gratitude for the gift that has been given to you, our dear sister Claudette. The mass was celebrated in thanksgiving for the gift of your life and vocation. S Louise read a short biography with the ‘itinerary’ of your PM vocation. The Eucharistic celebration was filled with joy and meaning for this wonderful day! In the afternoon, we simply get together as a community. We have prepared a video presentation of all the wishes of the past young sisters who have participated in the Spiritual Renewal Program over the years…an afternoon of joyful memories and thanksgiving!

We continue to rejoice with you for this day of thanksgiving. We commend you to Mary our Mother and Mother Rivier for the grace and the strength you need to continue the journey the Lord has begun in you. Magnificat!
