INTRODUCTION: <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are living in a time of grace, a unique moment in the history of our Congregation. Our Holy Foundress, Marie Rivier was canonized by Pope Francis on May 15, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

This memorable day, is always present in our hearts and in our vision of the future, as we look towards the God of the Universe who invites us to advance on the paths of the will of the Father. The love of God has been poured into our hearts <\/em><\/strong>Rm 5:5, with much Tenderness and Mercy.<\/span><\/p>\n

This novena in preparation for the Feast of the Presentation of Mary in the Temple draws us to the heart of our spirituality. The spirit of the Presentation of Mary is a wholly interior spirit, rooted in the spirit of Jesus Christ <\/em>C3. <\/em><\/strong> <\/sup><\/em><\/strong>You are God\u2019s temple and God\u2019s Spirit dwells in your midst <\/em>1Co 3: 16. We are the Temple of the living God. You have seduced me, Lord, and I let myself be seduced; you have overpowered me: you were the stronger <\/em>Jr 20: 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we pray and live this novena, we are called to contemplate and proclaim: You are beautiful O Mary \u2026. in the mystery of the Temple ! <\/em><\/strong>Of all women, you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of you womb Lk <\/em>1: 42. Temple most pure of the divinity, Mary is for us a locus of prayer. Filled with grace by the Father, one with Jesus in heart and mind, she turns us towards God and draws upon us the Spirit who helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words <\/em>C76.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mary, the Virgin who listened to the Will of God, lives among us. We welcome her into our lives with faith and great love. She teaches us to discover the new pathways that the Father has chosen for us. <\/span><\/p>\n

Give us a holy courage to seek new paths, so that the gift of unfading beauty may reach every man and woman.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

Mary, Virgin and Mother<\/em>, you who, moved by the Holy Spirit, welcomed the Word of life in the depths of your humble faith as you gave yourself completely to the Eternal One, help us to say our own \u201cyes\u201d to the urgent call, as pressing as ever, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Star of the new evangelization, help us to bear radiant witness to communion, service, ardent and generous faith, justice and love of the poor, so that the joy of the Gospel may reach to the ends of the earth, illuminating even the very fringes of our world.  <\/em>Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In communion with my Councilors, I wish you a fervent novena and a very beautiful feast of the Presentation of Mary,<\/span><\/p>\n

Consecrated life is beautiful because it reveals the divine in the human being, it reveals that the human being is capable of God, because of the Spirit that has been poured into our hearts who purifies us, strengthens us, and heals us.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

For many Christians, this journey of fraternity also has a Mother, whose name is Mary. Having received this universal motherhood at the foot of the cross, she cares not only for Jesus but also for \u201cthe rest of her children\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is by coming to know Our Lord that many became Saints and Martyrs.  Only this knowledge of Our Lord can make us happy.  Once Christ Jesus has entered someone\u2019s heart and resides there, he burns and consumes whatever is impure and not in keeping with his great holiness.  (St. Marie Rivier)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Mary herself will become Temple, place of the Presence of God.  Mary is called the holy temple of God, more beautiful than the temple of Solomon, the temple or sanctuary of the Holy Spirit.  She is the tabernacle of the Most High.  She is Temple because she is Mother.
