Living internationality means promoting the &#8220;culture of encounter&#8221;, the meeting of different peoples, languages, ethnic groups, cultures, generations, different ways of being and thinking. It truly bears witness to unity, one that is based on listening, understanding and respect, one which enriches us mutually.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Let us come together!&#8221; These words of our Foundress Marie Rivier are still true for us today. We come together to welcome our differences, to share our inner richness, to share our gifts and experiences. We come together to strengthen our bonds as sisters of the Presentation of Mary and to open our hearts to the dimensions of the world.<\/p>\n<p>In this spirit of communion we became pilgrims. On Thursday,&nbsp; we lived a pilgrimage at the heart of the Church, at St. Peter&#8217;s Basilica, in order to know and touch the sources of our faith and to experience spiritually our covenant of love with Christ.<\/p>\n<p>We ended the week with an introduction to the chapter on Community Life in our Rule of Life.
