{"id":15217,"date":"2020-08-14T01:00:36","date_gmt":"2020-08-13T23:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soeurs-de-la-presentation-de-marie.org\/pom\/?p=15217"},"modified":"2020-08-15T23:14:18","modified_gmt":"2020-08-15T21:14:18","slug":"echoes-from-the-us-province-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soeurs-de-la-presentation-de-marie.org\/pom\/echoes-from-the-us-province-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Echoes from the US Province II"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>&nbsp;<\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Faith, Hope, and Love during a time of Pandemic<\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>News from Marlborough, Massachusetts <\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Because of Covid-19, we are in \u201clockdown.\u201d&nbsp; No one can enter our house to visit, and no one from our community can leave, except for a short walk on our grounds.<\/p>\n<p>Each morning, we receive a menu from the kitchen.&nbsp; We choose what we want to eat for the day and it is delivered to our bedroom where all meals take place.&nbsp; The only other place we can go in the building is our chapel.&nbsp; We have had no Mass or communion for over 4 months. &nbsp;Our Activity Director, Cindy, has been very good to us.&nbsp; To break the monotony and stimulate a bit of socialization, she leads various activities as we sit in our bedroom doorways, six feet apart, for an hour or so each afternoon.&nbsp; In the photos we are enjoying an ice cream treat.&nbsp; Sometimes, we play \u201cBINGO.\u201d &nbsp;At other times, she leads us in a variety of physical exercises.&nbsp; While normal community events are suspended, we Praise God for this gift of being able to socialize.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the world, we know each of you are experiencing some kind of restriction because of Covid-19. &nbsp;Let us pray for one another as we live through this unique time.&nbsp; May we appreciate all the more our DAILY BREAD and our life together!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Faith, Hope, and Love during a time of Pandemic News from Marlborough, Massachusetts &nbsp; Because of Covid-19, we are in \u201clockdown.\u201d&nbsp; No one can enter our house to visit, and no one from our community can leave, except for a short walk on our grounds.
