La mission qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9e \u00e0 Marie Rivier est bien l\u00e0 o\u00f9 se trouvent les Filles de Rivier, S\u0153urs de la Pr\u00e9sentation de Marie \u00e0 R\u00e9gina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faire conna\u00eetre et aimer J\u00e9sus Christ : c\u2019est bien \u00e7a que nous t\u00e2chons d\u2019accomplir ici. Que \u00e7a soit par l\u2019enseignement dans nos \u00e9coles, ou par la cat\u00e9ch\u00e8se \u00e0 la paroisse la mission se continue. Les jeunes exultaient de joie de recevoir les sacrements de l\u2019Eucharistie et de la Confirmation  pour la premi\u00e8re fois. S\u0153ur Viviane Gareau, enseignante des \u00e9l\u00e8ves des \u00e9coles  \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s fi\u00e8re et heureuse de participer \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement inoubliable dans la vie de ces jeunes.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \u201cAdoration and board games night has been one of the best things I’ve gone to as a young adult in Regina. The time in Adoration is beautiful and peaceful. It is a very beautiful thing to see everyone come together with Jesus at the center. After Adoration we have an opportunity to spend time together afterwards, pull out some favorite games, and laugh a lot. I have been very blessed to get to know some of the really awesome people who come out, and I greatly admire their maturity in faith and their joyfulness, a joyfulness they share with the sisters.     Opening up our hearts and home to young adults also means we provided a live-in experience for young women who was discerning a call to Religious Life and wanted to get to know our community better. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \u201cThe live in experience, or the \u2018Come and See\u2019 that I did with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus and in my discernment to Religious Life.  I found that this experience gave me the space for more prayer \u2013 I don\u2019t mean more time for prayer, though there was a lot of that \u2013 but rather, more fervor and desire for prayer.  Living with a group of religious sisters and their witness to prayer and ministry gave a new \u201cflavor\u201d to conversing with God and listening to Him.  This experience was much needed in my discernment journey and even my spiritual journey in general.  I felt free, free to discern, free to be me, free to be with Jesus.\u201d (Mica Paez)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
