The celebration began with procession to the Chapel followed by an introduction by Sr. Marie Solange Badji, Regional Superior. In her introduction she quoted the words of Pope Francis for Mission Sunday this year and also reminded us that we are all sent on mission and that we should endeavour to fulfil our commitment to God. After the introduction we prayed Vespers. At the end of the Vespers Sr. Madeleine spoke to us saying that, \u201cGod called Abraham at the age of 75 and who is she not to respond positively to God\u2019s call, after all she is only 70 years old.\u201d She appreciated the efforts of each sister in the and their active participation in making the evening memorable. She also wished a fruitful mission to all.<\/p>\n<p>We ended the evening with light refreshments. The celebration was well animated and enjoyed by all.<\/p>\n<p>We thank Sr. Madeleine for her courage in taking this bold step.
