ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderWith great joy, on Marie Rivier\u2019s Feast Day, February 3rd,<\/sup> 2021, we, the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of our sisters\u2019 religious life: Sister Priscilla Houde, (provincial assistant) Sister Rose-Marie Sanche, and Sister Albina Labont\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Jubilees are times to remember and give thanks for our sisters\u2019 fidelity to their call to follow Christ and to serve others as He did.                                     <\/p>\n

\"\"The opportunity was taken to highlight the 30th<\/sup> anniversary of religious life of Sister Evelyn Nedelec. We also remembered and prayed for Sister Aline Blais and Sister Josephine Sanche who were absent, but celebrating their 70th<\/sup> anniversary of religious life.<\/p>\n

The festivities began in the chapel with the hymn, \u2018Come Follow Me\u2019<\/em>.  The Eucharist was celebrated by Father Maurice Fiolleau.  His message was centered on joy and thanksgiving, inviting the jubilarians to continue in the footsteps of their foundress\u2019 mission by keeping her charism alive in the diocese of Prince Albert. After the Offertory, the sisters renewed their vows of total commitment to the Lord.  Following the celebration, a festive banquet was enjoyed by all in a joyful atmosphere.<\/p>\n
