She began her novitiate on February 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, 2022, on this great day when we celebrate the anniversary of the death of our beloved Foundress, Marie Rivier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The ceremony began with a community gathering, followed by a talk given by our Regional Superior. This was followed by words of advice given to the future novice by some of the sisters and a procession to the chapel. After the procession we had an initiation ritual and then we prayed Vespers together. During Vespers, Christine presented her symbol. Explaining her symbol, a rock, she said, &#8220;Christ is my solid rock and my hope is built on Him.&#8221; Christine was filled with joy and the sisters of the Region also felt this same joy!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">On this same day, Sr. Marie Solange, our Regional Superior, read the letter of Rev. Mother Maria dos Anjos to the sisters announcing our new leadership team, in the persons of:&nbsp; Sr. Marie Solange Badji (Regional superior), Sr. Michelle A. Kujabi (Assistant and&nbsp; Councillor), Sr. Bernadette Bah (Councillor), Sr. Madeleine. Mendy (Councillor) and Sr. Rosine Sanyang (Councillor).
