WE GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR OUR JUBILARIANS<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

The welcome to the celebration of our Jubilarians began with a beautiful Eucharistic liturgy; the musicians provided some inspiring hymns and music. The readings from Colossians, the Wedding of Cana and Father Michael Averyt\u2019s homily all touched our hearts.<\/span>
\nA song of thanksgiving prepared us for the wonderful banquet.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 2:00 pm the Sisters gathered again to celebrate the lives of the Jubilarians:<\/span><\/p>\n

60th – Sisters Mary Woodward, Michelle Blanchette and Janice Fournier<\/span>\"\"<\/h3>\n

65th – Sisters Aline Cyr Elizabeth Decorby and Mariette Bilodeau<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/h3>\n

70th – Sr. Raymonde Ouellette<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/h3>\n

A poster of a large Celtic Knot held our attention. We find it to be a beautiful symbol of our journey to ever-deepening of our lives. We can see the ups and downs, the \u2018overs and unders \u2018all working together. We find that this knot is also a great symbol of community.<\/span>
\nFather Michael\u2019s words stay with us, and with him we say: \u201cGive thanks for the past, look forward to the future and do this in a spirit of love!\u201d Dear sisters: for answering God\u2019s call<\/span>
\nand for being open to God\u2019s love in all circumstances we give thanks and we celebrate with you the 445 years of vows, love and service. Congratulations!<\/span>
\nWith thanksgiving in our hearts, thoughts to ponder, stories that brought laughter, we now leave with the joy in togetherness! May God bless you.<\/span><\/p>\n
