The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary Schools in the Philippines successfully celebrated their end-of-year rites during the months of May, June, and possibly July. The graduation ceremony this year served as a reminder that, despite all obstacles, every PM learner’s success reflects a successful education. The Department of Education recommended the complete face-to-face conduct of the moving up and graduation ceremonies starting this school year (2022-2023), two years after mass gatherings were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of Education Order No. 9, Series of 2023, states that the focus on grit, resilience, and agency among Filipino students emphasizes that graduation is a joyous milestone and a representation of how a strong educational foundation can withstand any difficulty. In the PM schools, during these trying times, exhibiting resilience is essential for overcoming challenges and adjusting to change. Resilience helps students persevere and stay dedicated to their academic goals in the face of challenges, both internal and external, like the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, maintaining a strong educational foundation requires upgrading the K\u201312 Basic Education Program. To guarantee that students receive the best possible learning results, this prompted the PM schools to review and modify their curricula, instructional strategies, and learning tools.<\/span><\/p>\n [yotuwp type=”videos” id=”Hr9uZ7JguSQ” ]<\/p>\n Every PM learner’s accomplishments are influenced by a solid education that endures in the face of challenges. Because of the commitment of educators, school administration, and policymakers, students will continue to receive the direction and assistance needed for their whole development.<\/span><\/p>\n When in-person lessons ceased and were switched to online platforms, this year’s graduates and completers were thrown into an academic world of ambiguity. They are the group that can remember what it was like to be a student when the pandemic started.<\/span><\/p>\n To get to this stage in their journey, this group of graduates had to endure a lot; their tenacity and endurance have come through. We send our best wishes to the class of 2023 so they can successfully tackle the special difficulties we will all face together.<\/span><\/p>\n
