» Marie Rivier, a joyful woman with a charitable heart «
On the Feast Day of Blessed Marie Rivier, February 3, the Marie Rivier Associates (MRA) of Catalunan Grande had the opportunity to reach out to the poor families in the area.
The theme of the first day of the novena: “Marie Rivier, a joyful woman with a charitable heart.”, has inspired them to enflesh this face of holiness of our Foundress through reaching out to our poor brothers and sisters.
The associates have prepared food supplies and money to financially help some families who are poor and in dire need to make both ends meet particularly at this time of Covid 19 pandemic. The money was raised by the members themselves to share with these families. Due to the pandemic travel restrictions, only a few MRA members were privileged to visit the families around Catalunan Grande.
Our little effort has been blessed by the Lord. Our brothers and sisters were very grateful and happy. Our little effort was accompanied with hope that they may experience the love and providence of God, who is a loving Father. The God who is always with them and never abandon them in times of need and nothingness. Viva Marie Rivier!
