On October 17, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Good Voyage, in Nacala-Mozambique, during the Mass at 6 p.m., 24 Marie Rivier Associates renewed their commitment as active members in the Evangelization of the People of God.

The Mass was presided over by Fr. Avelino, spiritual director of the ecclesiastical movements of the diocese. In his homily, he encouraged the associates to always seek the will of God, to resemble St. Marie Rivier more and more because they are the Marie Riviers of our time. The priest said that Marie Rivier did not know Nacala but through her associates she is present in our diocese. He encouraged them to be firm and faithful in their spiritual journey.
