Temporary Vows

“Go and make disciples of all nations, and behold, I am with you always, until the end of time.”
Mt 28: 19 - 20

A Sister with temporary vows lives with sincerity and freely assumes the commitment to live in fidelity the demands of each vows namely, chastity, poverty and obedience. With an ever-deepening awareness of the merciful tenderness of God in her behalf, she will let her resolve mature until the day of her perpetual profession. ( C126)
She, with the grace of God, continues to respond to God’s call in Jesus Christ — allowing Him to transform herself and to incarnate Him through her values, attitudes and choices which reflect Jesus Christ himself.
At this stage the Sister is engaged in her human, spiritual and professional formation according to her apostolic milieu. Whatever she does and become, she is in a state of proclaiming the Good News, who is Jesus Christ!
