Feast of the Presentation of Mary 2025
On November 21, the Feast of the Presentation of Mary, the PMA school community came together for a beautiful and joy-filled celebration honoring the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. This year’s feast was especially meaningful as it coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Academy’s opening—a century of faith, mission, and Catholic education inspired by the Sisters’ unwavering dedication.
More than 500 students gathered in the gymnasium, joined by over 300 parents, friends, and guests. We were blessed by the presence of four priests, three of whom were educated by the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary: Father Paul, Father Marc, Father Ray, and Father Michael. Their presence added a heartfelt connection to the legacy of the Sisters and their profound impact on countless lives.
Before Mass, a meal was shared in gratitude and fellowship, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the celebration. During the liturgy, the students sang with full hearts and lifted voices, honoring Mary and expressing their love and appreciation for the Sisters who have formed, guided, and inspired generations.
As the Mass concluded, the eighth-grade students offered a touching tribute. Each Sister in attendance was presented with a rose—one simple but powerful symbol of gratitude for their lifetime of service, compassion, and commitment to the mission of the Academy.
The entire day was filled with joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of unity. Students, parents, teachers, priests, and Sisters stood together, celebrating not only a feast day but a century of faith in action. It was a beautiful reminder of the enduring spirit of the Presentation of Mary Academy and the shining legacy of the Sisters who continue to light the way.
