CONSECRATION TO THE VIRGIN MARY

On May 31, 2025, we joyfully and gratefully celebrated the consecration of our three laywomen: Georgina, a widow, Marina, a widow, and Rosali, single. Over the years, they have persevered in their quest for knowledge of their vow of chastity while exploring the spirituality and charism of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. They have also been members of the Associates of Collique since the founding of this group. Their wisdom, along with their humility of heart, enriches the members of the Associates. Georgina and Marina are committed to visiting the sick, and Rosali is a teacher at a public school. They are women who live their faith with joy and fidelity.

We had a one-day retreat reflecting once again on the Formation Manual for consecrated laypersons. They were invited to engage in dialogue with Sister Carmen Luz about their journey and their decision to consecrate themselves to the Lord through the vow of chastity.

The celebration of the consecration was accompanied by our Formation community as well as some members of their families. It was all experienced with emotion, serenity, joy, and participation.

Together, we celebrated this event with a snack where we experienced the family spirit.

Our meetings take place every month and, at the moment, we are going to deepen the history of the Congregation in order to support the new participants. Of course, we also share what is happening in our universal and local Church.
