THE ROOTS OF YESTERDAY AND TODAY

Trials are inseparable from human existence, but every time we have to go through them, we feel that life betrays us. The need for social isolation, caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, has changed all forms of prayer, routines and especially our program during this time of renewal. But in the midst of all this, there are great and beautiful graces being offered to us.

This week, with Sr. Kelly, we were able to learn a little more about Canon Law and, in the light of it, to deepen the three vows, as well as to reflect on what our Rule of Life presents to us as the rights and obligations of our commitment as Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.

At the end of the week, we plunged into the roots of the history of our Congregation. Our travel guide was Sr. Geneviève who, with a special passion, helped us explore each era, sharing with us details and situations of all kinds.

All this has made us grow in wonder and gratitude for the strength, faith and confidence of Marie Rivier and her successors. We have a beautiful family history to remember and to continue building!
